A mysterious world with offshore and fascinating caves with stalactites
In the harbor of Santa Bárbara de Samaná the motor catamaran or speedboat starts into the bay of Samaná. After only 30 minutes you will see the National Park Los Haitises with its offshore islands.
The lush vegetation of the protected ecosystem is home to many species of birds and fish.
Bird islands with colonies of pelicans, herons and magnificent frigate birds loudly welcome us to the national park.
On the boat ride, you will dock at various islands to take a walk through the caves where pirates once hid their treasures and indigenous people lived.
Around noon you will cross the bay of Samaná again and have your lunch on Cayo Levantado, the small island in the bay.
On the “Bacardi Island” you will also have enough time to relax and swim.
Your travel assistant will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the tour.
