By truck you will drive into the hinterland, where you will experience the lush vegetation of the Samaná Peninsula. During the drive you will be shown the variety of plants that grow naturally here, e.g. cacao, coffee, bananas and much more.
You will get a glimpse of normal Dominican family life and also visit a so-called colmado, a corner store where you can get a little bit of everything. In the countryside such a store is indispensable.
You can refresh yourself with a swim in the cool waters of the Caño Frio, a freshwater river that flows into the sea, and end the day at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic, Playa Rincon.
Of course, a typical Dominican lunch should not be missing on such a tour.
