Travel by truck into the hinterland, where you will experience the lush vegetation of the Samaná Peninsula. During the drive, you will be shown the great variety of plants that grow naturally here, such as cacao, coffee, bananas, and much more.

You will gain insight into everyday Dominican family life and also visit a so-called colmado, a small local corner shop where you can find a bit of everything. In rural areas, such a shop is indispensable.

In the refreshing waters of Caño Frío, a freshwater river that flows into the sea, you can cool off with a swim before ending the day at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic, Playa Rincón.
