Enjoy a day in Los Haitises National Park
Start the day by boat from the port of Samana. The trip goes through the bay of Samana until you reach the National Park Los Haitises.
There you will dive into the past. Admire stories from times gone by, captured through murals and carvings of the indigenous people.
Explore stalactite caves and drive through the maze of impressive rocks. Mangrove channels and lush vegetation are home to numerous species of birds and fish.
Continue to the Eco Lodge Caño Hondo – here you will fortify yourself with lunch. You will also have the opportunity to refresh yourself in the natural pools filled with mountain spring water and take a tour of the nature trail before returning to your hotel.
