Half day tour, original Dune Buggy VW Beetle, air-cooled with boxer engine
After being picked up from your hotel, there will be a brief introduction to your buggy with safety instructions from your knowledgeable guide.
Get ready to get started on the adventure! With large, rugged, all-terrain VW Dune buggies, you’ll head inland! Your first stop will be a pit stop with a real Dominican coffee – keeping you fit for the tour. Passing colorful Caribbean houses, banana plantations and cow pastures, the road will take you up to a sandstone mine where you will take a spin.
The return trip will be on normal roads to the villages of La Ceiba and Macao. You will visit a typical colmado. In these grocery stores the local people do their daily shopping.
After snacks and drinks, the excursion continues to the natural beach of Macao. There you will have time to wash off the dust with a short swim. Or you can just enjoy the breathtaking view of the sea before making the return trip to Punta Cana.
