An unforgettable little round trip, with many different impressions, is waiting for us. We start comfortably in the air-conditioned bus, which brings us the whole day to the different stations. From our tour guide we learn, in an entertaining way, detailed information about the culture of the Dominicans and Haitians.
We will visit a coffee and cacao plantation with a variety of tropical fruits, which we will also taste ourselves. In the provincial capital of Higüey, we will walk together through a local market. In the fishing village of Boca de Yuma we will enjoy our lunch, where a breathtaking view awaits us. A short boat ride through the unforgettable Yuma River, away from tourism will also be offered to us.
The last part of the tour begins with a visit to the sugar cane fields where, with a little luck, we will meet our Haitian guest workers.
